I’m One of the muses, A common wood nymph roaming around Parnassus, Happy with my little sweet pea. With her delicate, fragrant flowers Carried on long, slim stalks, She captivated me. I ran to her flaming with desire. I am flaming. Burning Blazing with desire. Too hot for my sweet pea. Because she’s so delicate, So delicate for me. As I touch her, she transformed into ashes. I burnt her. And out of a haze, you were formed. Like smoke given out by fire. A fireweed that sprang up in the burnt over area. A replacement, I thought. You quenched my thirst. Suffuse my hunger. My desire. I came to you for a crown And you gave me a kingdom. You made me eat on a golden plate And drink from your cup of diamonds. But like a common pitcher plant, Cut your base open And there you’ll find my body’s remains trapped inside. A pitfall in the middle of the forest. I will name you Venus? The goddess with a seducing brilliant red trap. Open to all beings that needs nurturing. Show your bosom and all will crave for your milk. From a butterfly, you turned me to an ant. When I brushed only slightly against your skin, You closed within an instant. Rigid spines on the margins of you blades interlock tightly. As soon as I was trapped, You digested me. Used me as a nutrient material. I know this is about to last for only a week. By the time your leaf reopens, You’ll be reedy for other sufferers. Trapped inside, I accepted my fate. Then there she came one spring day. My little delicate sweet pea. Now a spring beauty in full bloom. A low perennial herb. With narrow, succulent leaves And loose cluster of white and pink flowers. But your leaf has closed. I cannot escape.

Christmas in the Air: Morning Musume Special

A post Christmas fic about how some Momusu pairings celebrated their Christmas..:)

Santa’s Reindeer

Almost all of the people were already inside of their homes, celebrating Christmas with their love ones. Only two persons were walking down the previously busy street at this late hour. They were dressed in a reindeer and Santa costumes. Those two were having the time of their lives. Santa kept on pinching the red nose of the reindeer while the other was rubbing Santa’s large belly. Santa was bending the reindeer’s antler while the other was pulling Santa’s fake, white beard.

“You’re a reindeer right? Why won’t you carry me to my apartment?”

The reindeer groaned at first but kneeled down to give in to the request. It’s Christmas anyways so a piggy back ride was fine. The reindeer carried Santa, though Santa’s weight was making the reindeer almost stumble many times. Santa kept hugging the reindeer tightly, as if urging to move on. When Santa noticed that the reindeer was on the verge of giving up, Santa kissed its cheek. The reindeer stopped, a little bit surprised at what Santa gave her this Christmas. The reindeer smiled back and continued on their way back to the ‘north pole’.

A couple of minutes more, they reached their destination. Santa came down from the reindeer’s back. They stared at each other for a couple of seconds more.

“Does Santa want to spend her Christmas with her reindeer?”

“You’re always welcome to join me.”

“Thanks, Santa Rika.” The reindeer smiled at her as they entered the apartment hand in hand.

“Since I’ll let you sleep here, is it ok if I call you “Yossie the Red-Nose Reindeer” then?”

The Nut Cracker

She was exhausted. She didn’t know that many people will watch her favourite group’s Christmas presentation of “The Nut Cracker”. She was glad that she bought her tickets as soon as it was released because it was sold out in just a week. Takaruza Group’s popularity was really well known.

She searched for her keys on her bag, only to find out that her door was already opened. Her heart started beating very fast. Who could have entered her apartment? Its Christmas time and bad guys do rest even on this day right? She calmed herself and got her umbrella. She breathed deeply before going inside. She quickly switched on the lights and looked around. Her component started playing the “Nut Cracker” by Tchaikovsky. A girl wearing a white tutu emerged from her kitchen. She started dancing ballet in the tune of the music. She wanted to cry in laughter or cry because of the way her best friend tried her best to dance ballet even though she didn’t know how to.

As the music died down, the girl walked towards her.

“So, which performance was better? Mine or your favourite group?”

“Yours of course…. Thanks Risa.”

Christmas Party

That was the noisiest apartment in the street. Talk about partying, but only three people were in that said house. It looked like they were drunk or something but they were still not in the right age to drink alcohol. This was the way they celebrated their Christmas.

The music’s up to its highest volume. The room was somewhat messy due to the food packages and soda bottles that are on the floor. Some of the sauce was dripping on the side of the table. The three girls didn’t mind the mess they made. They were enjoying their Christmas.

The girl, wearing a Santa hat was singing a Christmas song on the mike, even if she’s really out of tune. The other one’s hugging the turtle stuffed toy that she received while dancing with the other girl who’s wearing a hair band with a reindeer’s antler. They danced and sang their hearts out until the wee hours of the morning. They didn’t care if they disturb other people. As long as they’re having fun on this special occasion, nothing else matters.
A simple audition way back when; that started this special kind of friendship between them. No matter what the circumstances will be, they will stay together as the ‘Rokkies’.

Christmas Phone Call

This will be the first year that she will celebrate her Christmas in this way. The greatest gift she could have was already given to her last November when her baby girl was brought out to this world. She’s contented with her new life now but somehow, she’s not that happy.

Memories of the girl she knew before kept flashing on her mind. The happy times and bad times with this girl kept her mind occupied for a while now. They’ve lost their communication months before. The last time she heard, she was in New York. Her baby’s cries made her wake up to reality. She gave her a bottle of milk and sang a nice warm song to make her child fall back to sleep.

Suddenly, her husband called her from downstairs. She kissed her baby’s forehead before going down. Her husband smiled at her and pointed at the phone. She picked it up and was surprised to hear a familiar voice. The girl who’s constantly bugging her mind for quite sometime now, was calling her up on this exceptional day.

“Merry Christmas to you and your baby!!!”

“Merry Christmas too, Aibon.”

The Christmas Gift

The girl was freezing on the cold air even though she’s wearing layers of shirts and a jacket. She was sitting down on a bench on the park where she’s waiting for someone… a person whose identity was still uncertain on her part. She looked again on a piece of paper that the person left on her door.

“Meet me in the park just before midnight….

Ps: I brought your gift!”

As she patiently waits for this unknown person, she couldn’t help but look at the wonderful scenes around her. The homes nearby were beautifully decorated with lights. She could hear Christmas songs being played on a nearby store. She let out a sigh… Who is this person whose making her wait outside on this beautiful night.

Suddenly, a dolphin appeared in front of her face. She tried to stifle her scream as she fell from her seat.

“Take me! I’m yours!”

The dolphin’s voice sounded really familiar. A hand helped her get up and immediately hugged her as soon as she was up. She shouldn’t really be surprised. It’s Christmas and it’s a time of surprises and home comings.

“Welcome back, Mako-chan!”

“Merry Christmas, Kon-Kon!”

A Surprise Visit on Christmas Eve

“This is really annoying”

The girl let out a sigh as she makes her way towards her ref. She pulled out her favourite dish, a whole plate of Grade A, Yakiniku. She gorges her food alone on this happy occasion. This was the first Christmas that she didn’t celebrate in front of the camera. She will miss the fun times that she had all those years performing on stage on a cold Christmas day. A knock on the door almost made her choke on the food that she’s eating. She’s not in the mood to entertain noisy carollers whose singing Christmas songs over and over again.

“Merry Christmas!!!!” Her uninvited guest simultaneously said as she opened the door. She didn’t expect them to come in her house that day. She thought that her best friend might actually visit her in during this time but the other person she’s with, it doesn’t really make sense. She opened her door wide enough for the two to enter. A question was clearly visible on her face that her best friend easily got it.

“I know that the only food in your ref is Yakiniku so I called out some help for us to eat good food on this occasion.” The girl still looked puzzled at the sudden turn of events. She studied the other person carefully.

Why did she come? She’s busy right?

Questions came rushing in from her head as she thought of a plausible explanation why the other person’s visiting her. The other person smiled, as if reading her question right out of her head.

“I’m not that busy anymore. I graduated right? Here’s my present to you.”

“Thanks, Maki.”

“Saa, let’s cook our Christmas meal! Maki, you’ll be the one to cook. I will take care of the drinks and Tan…. Enough with Yakinuku, ok?”
